If you are based in South Africa, you have rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). If you are based in the United Kingdom or European Union, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These rights include:

We do not use advertising networks or allow third parties to place advertising cookies on our website.

Atlassian Marketplace apps

Halverton and Company also publishes apps on the Atlassian Marketplace (the “Apps”), including Deadline Defender for Jira. The following terms apply specifically to your use of those Apps.

Our Apps are built on Atlassian Forge and run entirely inside your Atlassian Cloud tenancy. To do their job, they access:

• Jira issue data such as summaries, due dates, assignees and changelogs
• User display information including names and avatars, used to show who made each change
• Project metadata such as names and keys, so the app knows which project it is running on

The exact Atlassian scopes requested by each App are listed on its Marketplace listing. We always request the minimum scopes required.

We do not store any of your Jira data outside your Atlassian tenancy. All data is fetched in real time via Atlassian APIs and is never retained on our servers. We do not share App data with any third party, and we never sell it. Where an App needs to remember a per-user or per-project preference, it stores that preference using Forge Storage, which lives inside your Atlassian tenancy.

Because we do not store your App data externally, there is nothing for us to delete on request — uninstalling the App removes our access entirely.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
